Abstract
The theme of this the bachelor thesis is the waste management of the Libina municipality. The aim is to analyze and evaluate the activities in Libina municipality in the area of waste management and suggest recommendations and actions for their improvement. The thesis is divided into five chapters and two main parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical section provides the general information of the waste management, clarifies the general terms and elemental definitions from area of waste treatment and also rights and obligations of municipality in the system of waste management and finally possible ways of its financing. Practical part is focused on analysis of the waste management in Libina municipality in terms of organizational and financial perspective. There are defined proposals and recommendations to an improvement of the situation of this branch in Libina municipality in the end of the thesis.
