Abstract

POISLOVÁ, Kateřina: Solution of sanitary and technical installations in a residential building with commercial spaces in Ostrava, Nová Ves, Ostrava: Master's Thesis, VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Building Environment and HVAC, 2024, 68 pages. The subject of this master's thesis is the design of a residential building with commercial spaces and a complete solution for sanitary and technical installations. The building is located at plot no. 61/1, Ostrava, Nová Ves. The thesis is prepared at the design stage for construction implementation and includes both text and drawing parts. The first part of the thesis focuses on the architectural and structural design of the building, which is proposed as a four-story, non-basement "L"-shaped building with a flat green roof. The construction is designed as a masonry structure using the Porotherm system, with filling structures such as windows and doors made of aluminum material. The second part of the thesis presents a complete solution for sanitary and technical installations, including water and sewage systems and related technologies to ensure hygiene and comfort in the building. The solution also includes outdoor networks, such as a water supply connection, vacuum sewage system, and rainwater drainage system, with rainwater being collected and used for garden irrigation. The final part of the thesis is an economic and feasibility evaluation of the choice between a pumping station, a wastewater treatment plant, and a cesspool.
