Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis evaluates the feasibility of a business plan focused on the development and licensing of an environmentally friendly asphalt mixture containing recycled plastic. The theoretical part describes the fundamental principles of entrepreneurship, the structure of a business plan, marketing and financial planning, and the importance of internal and external environment analysis. The practical part applies these concepts to a specific business model that does not involve in-house production but is based on licensing a certified formula to construction companies. The thesis includes SLEPT and SWOT analyses, Porter’s Five Forces analysis, and both marketing and financial planning, including a break-even point calculation. The results indicate that the business concept has a realistic potential for success, particularly due to the growing emphasis on sustainability and the availability of public support. With appropriate strategic management, effective certification, and targeted communication toward construction companies and local governments, the project is expected to achieve positive economic outcomes and contribute to environmental sustainability.
