Abstract

The theme of the work is to evaluate the performance of the company using selected diagnostic methods. This topic was chosen because it can not assume the company's performance based solely on the economic result. Also important is the structure of assets and efficiency of its use, resource covering business activities, etc. Only a comprehensive approach based on deep analysis and setting the right parameters can be achieved specific objectives in increasing business performance. The aim is to use theoretical knowledge of economic performance and diagnostics and application of selected analytical methods for ČEZ. The work is divided into four main parts. In the second chapter is a description of the company ČEZ, including key historical data and ownership structure. Definition of analytical methods and theoretical perspectives necessary for understanding the issues raised by the third chapter. Application of selected methods of analysis of the state of the content of the fourth chapter. Summary of results and suggestions made to eliminate possible adverse conditions, contains the fifth chapter.
