Abstract
The theme of the thesis is competitive analysis on the restaurant market. The thesis is based on theoretical model of competition analysis, marketing services and used research methods. The aim of the research is evaluation of the predetermined criteria for selected competitors. Criteria focused on the exterior, availability, interior, dining table, toilets, prices, food and drink menu. Equally important were parameters for the level of the staff, pizza, other services, payment options and sales promotion. The operational objective is comparison of outputs between competitors. Data collection had been carried out by using the method of mystery shopping and mystery mailing. In the last part, there are suggested recommendations, which could lead to higher competitiveness of restaurant Veneto.
