Abstract

Lightning of a shopping precinct – bachelor´s thesis. Ostrava: VŠB Technical university of Ostrava, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Department of Electrical Power Engineering. Supervisor: Ing. Bernat Petr Ph.D. This bachelor´s thesis deals with a theory and a design for lightning system of a retail chain´s shopping unit. I was trying hard to apply all my knowledge gained from lectures, studying of the norms, universities textbooks and at last also from various refresher courses during writing this thesis. The introduction of this thesis is dealing with the theory and basic terms. Then it deals also with the influence of daylight and artificial lightning on people. The complete design of lightning system is done in the second part with the help of calculation program DIALux version 4.10.1. including the choice of appropriate lights for shopping unit considering their usage. Illustrative pictures are used because of the dimensions of the shopping unit´s building. The main calculation is added as an appendix to this bachelor´s thesis because of it´s length.
