Abstract
This thesis describes the sorption of heavy metals with biosorbents. The first chapter is devoted to heavy metals and their occurrence in the environment. The next chapter discusses the basic characteristics of chromium. Problem of sorption of heavy metals from aqueous solutions is also describes in this theory. The experimental part is concerned with comparing the sorption properties of two biosorbents - Cansorb and spruce sawdust.
