Kompresní algoritmy pro zpracování zvuku

Abstract

The topic of this thesis is identification of algorithms for the compression of digital audio signals. The first part is about the theory. Above all the theoretical apparatus of the sound, its reception and processing in analog and digital concept of this phenomenon. Subsequently there is a list of compressing algorithms, how they work, what they are used for, what advantages and disadvantages they have and what codecs are used for certain algorithms. In the next part of the work there is an analysis and the suitable criteria are stated for comparing and measuring of their quality. The last part of the work covers the description of how to make some educational materials for the subject „Multimedia presentation and web technologies“ for the educational portal Rubin.
