Porovnání úrovně lidského kapitálu v České republice a vybraných zemích Evropy

Abstract

The bachelor thesis is written in the form of descriptive and comparative analysis. The aim of the work is to find the level of human capital in the Czech Republic compared to selected countries of Europe. The first part of the thesis is focused on the theory of human capital and its influence on economic growth. Human capital is defined as a set of knowledge and skills which person usually gains in the process of education and practical work. The second part of the thesis is focused on methods of research and measurement of human capital. The last part of the thesis is focused on the comparison of the level of human capital in the Czech Republic with selected countries of Europe.
