Abstract
The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the design of a car seat. The first part is theoretical, which deals with the historical development, types of seat constructions in sports cars and their manufacturers. Ergonomics, anthropometry and safety are also mentioned here, which are their integral parts. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to design a car seat that will meet the requirements for functionality, aesthetics and comfort. In the practical part, sketches were created and used to develop two seat models, which were then 3D printed. In the conclusion, these two models are compared based on ergonomic criteria.
