Mezipodnikové srovnání a konkurenceschopnost farmaceutických společností v České republice

Abstract

V diplomové práci na téma „Mezipodnikové srovnání a konkurenceschopnost farmaceutických společností v České republice“ je řešena problematika konkurenceschopnosti v rámci farmaceutického odvětví a srovnání dvou vybraných společností. Prostřednictvím teoretické části jsou nastíněny základní pojmy, charakteristika odvětví a metody analýzy pomocí literární rešerše. Následně aplikací zmíněných metod je posuzována situace farmaceutického odvětví a společností v něm. Cílem práce je zhotovení analýzy konkurenceschopnosti a mezipodnikového srovnání vybraných společností. Dílčím cílem je provedení analýzy konkurenčního prostředí farmaceutického odvětví. Na základě informací zjištěných pomocí aplikace metod je stanovena současná situace a jsou navržena doporučení vedoucí ke zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti vybraných farmaceutických společností. Závěrem diplomové práce bylo sděleno, že jsou vybrané společnosti silnými konkurenty a mají vysokou míru konkurenceschopnosti, a zároveň že je farmaceutické odvětví velmi konkurenčním prostředím s vysokými požadavky a silnými bariérami vstupu.

The thesis on "Inter-company comparison and competitiveness of pharmaceutical companies in the Czech Republic" deals with the issue of competitiveness within the pharmaceutical industry and comparison of two selected companies. Through the theoretical part, the basic concepts, characteristics of the industry and methods of analysis are outlined by means of a literature search. Subsequently, the situation of the pharmaceutical sector and the companies in it is assessed by applying the mentioned methods. The aim of the thesis is to make a competitive analysis and inter-company comparison of the selected companies. A sub-objective is to carry out an analysis of the competitive environment of the pharmaceutical sector. On the basis of the information found by the application of the methods, the current situation is determined and recommendations are proposed to increase the competitiveness of the selected pharmaceutical companies. In conclusion, the thesis communicated that the selected companies are strong competitors and have a high level of competitiveness, and also that the pharmaceutical industry is a very competitive environment with high demands and strong barriers to entry.
