Média v Protektorátu Čechy a Morava

Abstract

This bachelor thesis examines the topic of Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia and Czech contemporary media. How changed Czech media under the conditions of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia (1939-1945), which was established by the Nazis after the elimination of the Republic of Czecho-Slovakia and the occupation of the Czech lands in 1939. The Czech media were governed by the Protectorate and occupational authorities using various manipulative, regulatory, and censorship mechanisms. This paper deals with especially Czech print media, radio and film under the control Nazi propaganda and censorship. This paper offers a glimpse to mechanisms, which occupational authorities control media agenda and influenced Personnel Policy. This control expressly intervened media institutions in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia.
