Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on the steel heat treating for a manufacturing of pipes, which can be used especially in an oil industry. It is not-alloyed or low-alloyed steel alloyed with vanadium. Objective is to find such conditions of a heat treating to have steel with exactly prescribed parameters. In the experimental part there is a metallographic evaluation of all treating phases up to rolling, hardening and tempering. After every heat treating the hardness of steel was evaluated. There is even mentioned the example of a simulation modelling of low-alloyed steel, which is doped with vanadium, heat treating using a QT Steel software, which can evaluate structure, mechanical parameters and cooling down regime according to the relevant ARA diagram with a certain precision.
