Abstract

The aim of the bachelor's thesis entitled "Compact center for socially vulnerable persons of pre-productive age" is the elaboration of the project documentation for realization of the construction according to decree No. 405/2017 Coll. This work builds on the urban study prepared in the winter semester of the school year 2016/2017 within the subject Studio works III, the building study completed in the summer semester of the school year 2016/2017 within the subject Studio works IV. At the same time, it follows the documentation for the building permit prepared in the winter semester of the school year 2017/2018 within the subject Studio works Va. From an urban point of view, it is a newly designed area with a block of flats in the area of the main railway station in Opava city. The facility itself is situated on the southeastern edge of this area. It is designed as temporary housing for people who are socially vulnerable and can not grow up in a fully-fledged family. Part of the building are also civic amenities, offices and underground parking. The aim of the proposal was to create a compact building supporting especially children in need and to complement the spore of social housing in Opava city.
