Abstract

The goal of this work is in the range of technical study to design variant solution of traffic node Ostrava main station with the current compliance zoning plan of Ostrava. Zoning plan considers interconnection of the street Skladištní with the area of traffic node and expects the construction of the Museum of Transport DPO, which will be located in a former industrial building. The theoretical part is a search retrieval, dedicated to the traffic nodes, their location, equipments, etc. There is also included a section dealing with bus and trolleybus stops and tram turn aroundings. In the theoretical section is also included a description and analysis of the current state of traffic node and its importance in Ostrava. The conclusion includes a multi - criteria assessment of the proposed variant solutions, including the recommending of the most appropriate variant solution.
