Abstract

This thesis examines the possibilities and the use of unmanned aerial systems in the investigation of traffic accidents by Police of the Czech Republic. Thesis deals with the processing of data, which was taken by unmanned aerial systems. Staged traffic accident was created for these purposes and then the possibility of using unmanned aerial system were tested. In this thesis data is processed by using freely available tools and processing result is a map of location of traffic accidents. At the end of thesis, methods of mapping traffic accidents by the Police of the Czech Republic are compared with a method of mapping a traffic accident by using unmanned aerial systems.
