Abstract
This thesis deals with 3D model evaluation of Johann Palisa Observatory and Planetarium and its visualization using geodetic and photogrammetric measurements. In the first part of the thesis there is description of the Intersection Photogrammetry Method, its process and appropriate measuring tools, 3D model processing and evaluation and its visualization. The next part contains information about the building itself and approach description of capturing input values i.e. description of digital camera calibration based on test field imagery, description of geodetic measurement ground control points selected upon terrain reconnaissance, description of field photogrammetric object imagery. Next there is data processing in PhotoModeler and Microstation, model visualization and its possible usage. The final part deals with 3D model quality evaluation and comparing measured values with photogrammetrically obtained values.
