Abstract

The bachelor thesis evaluates the influence of Germany on Visegrad countries. The objective of this work is to uphold or deny the existence of theorem of locomotives between V4 countries on the one hand and Germany on the other. The theorem describes the influence of exports on economic growth. The introductory part is dedicated to targets of economic policy; economic growth, unemployment rate, inflation rate and balance of payments. The objectives of economic policy are compared through the magic quadrangle between the V4 countries and Germany. Final part focuses on the territorial level of openness and export dependence of the V4 group of economies and the economy of Germany. In conclusion, an impact of Germany on V4 countries is assessed using the regression and correlation analysis.
