Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals Spas in the Zlin region and economic development of selected spas: Spas Luhačovice, Sulphurous spas Ostrozska Nova Ves and Spas Kostelec in Zlin. The target of this thesis was to describe basic knowledge of a balneology in the Zlin Region and based on a financial analysis to assess, compare and summarize financial development of the spas and suggest them remedy. Financial reports and calculated economic indicators shows that all the companies are financially healthy, they have no problems with repayment liabilities, if they use external resources it´s profitable, activity indicators are in low values. In the monitored period all of the spas achieve positive economic results. I found that balneology is a prosperous field.
