Analýza radiokomunikačního spojení na letišti LKZA Zábřeh

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the analysis of radiocommunication links at the LKZA Zábřeh airfield. The theoretical part describes the principles of electromagnetic wave propagation, the modulation types used, the characteristics of frequency bands, and the technical requirements for aeronautical radios and antennas. The practical part is dedicated to the design, construction, and tuning of an omnidirectional J antenna for the frequency of 123.605 MHz, its measurement using a vector analyzer, and its comparison with the existing antenna in real operation. The thesis also includes a coverage simulation in the Radio Mobile software and the assembly of an airband receiver. The results demonstrate improved signal readability achieved by the newly designed and constructed antenna, which was one of the main objectives of the work.
