Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the corporate culture of the selected joint-stock company, detection of problems in the culture of the company, to determine the relationship between culture and strategy of the company, designed and recommended possible solutions to problems related to culture. The joint-stock company wishes to remain anonymous, so I called the company as C&T Trans. In the first part of the thesis formulated theoretical basis of organizational culture. There are analyzed components of organizational culture and the interaction of business strategy and culture.
The second part focuses on the characterization and performance of joint-stock company, which, among other activities, provides public transportation metropolis in the country. This section is devoted to the history of the company, its objectives, organizational structure, human resources development leading to the current state of the company and financial data relating to business.
The third part of the reader through an introduction to the situation in public transport Czech Republic. This section also contains a model of organizational culture selected, a description of the methodology used to analyze culture and summary of findings from the questionnaire survey, interviews and analysis of company documents.
The last chapter of the work includes formulating its own proposals and recommendations for the management of the company.
