Interakce infuzního setu a volumetrické infuzní pumpy a jejich vliv na kvalitu léčby

Abstract

V dnešní době je používání volumetrických infuzních pump ve zdravotnických zařízeních zcela běžné. Vyskytuje se zde mnoho přístrojů od různých výrobců a velký počet typů těchto pump. Každému typu ovšem nevyhovuje stejný infuzní set, a proto je důležité dbát na to, aby byly používané infuzní sety kompatibilní s daným přístrojem. Tento aspekt hraje významnou roli v přesnosti dávkování infuze, což je jeden z nejdůležitějších parametrů infuzní terapie. Ale ani v případě, že se jedná o infuzní sety kompatibilní s přístrojem, které jsou doporučeny výrobcem, není zaručena správná přesnost dávkování. Ta může být ovlivněna nestejnými vlastnostmi materiálu, ze kterého je vyroben infuzní set, při jeho dlouhodobém mechanickém namáhání v čerpacím segmentu infuzní pumpy. Cílem této práce je objasnit, zda má interakce infuzního setu a infuzní volumetrické pumpy vliv na kvalitu léčby z hlediska přesnosti a bezpečnosti.

Nowadays the use of volumetric infusion pumps in medical facilities is absolutely common. There are many devices from different manufacturers and a large number of these types of pumps. However, each type does not meet the same infusion set and therefore it is important to ensure that the used infusion sets compatible with that device. This aspect plays an important role in the accuracy of dosing infusion which is one of the most important parameters for infusion therapy. But even if it is the infusion sets compatible with device which are recommended by the manufacturer there is not guarantee accurate dosing. This may be affected by unequal material properties of an infusion set made from with long-term mechanical loading of the pumping segment of the infusion pump. This thesis is focused on clarifying whether the interaction of the infusion set and infusion volumetric pump have an effect on the quality of treatment in terms of accuracy and safety.
