Abstract

The main objective of the diploma thesis is to determine the effect of feeding the furnace on minimum ignition temperature. There are basic knowledge about dust explosion mechanism and factors that influence dust explosibility in the theoretical part. The following describes methods of measuring the minimum ignition temperature of whirled up dust. The practical part includes an analysis of the dust samples, the results of measurements and a comparison of different methods of determining the minimum ignition temperature of whirled up dust.
