Zastupitelstvo města Příbora jako základní orgán samosprávy

Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis „The Příbor Town Assembly as a Basic Self-Government Body“ was to evaluate the structure of the Town Assembly on the basis of analysis and comparison of developments and the current situation on the example of the town Příbor. In the theoretical part, it was suggested the constitution of the Self-Government Body, which clearly determines its importance and necessity for the proper functioning of the rule of law. The principle of elections to Town Assembly and the associated right to vote and to be elected was outlined. The practical part is devoted to analysis of the Příbor Town Assembly. On the basis of data obtained the survey of Příbor Municipal Bodies was drawn up. The development of the costs on Basic Self-Government Body was evaluated, and this development was compared with the town of approximately the same parameters, which was Duchcov in this case. Constituent part was research of knowledge about the Town Assembly among pupils of local primary schools and high schools. On the basis of results, the conclusions and suggestions for possible improvements were formulated.
