Abstract
This thesis deals with the possibilities of using renewable energy sources by municipalities in the Czech Republic. Work defines renewable energy sources and their support in the Czech Republic. Trought analysis of the economic efficiency and of the return selects the best opportunity to use renewable energy from the proposed options for individual municipalities.
