Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the visualization of data transmissions in mobile networks. The main goal is to design and implement a portable measurement assembly and a web application enabling clear visualization of data transmission capabilities in mobile networks. The thesis describes mobile network technologies from GSM to 5G NR, including their architecture and transmission parameters. The practical part contains an assembly using the Waveshare SIM8202G-M2 5G HAT module with a Raspberry Pi 4B single-board computer and a web application consisting of five measurement modules. The application allows measurement of download and upload speed, latency, jitter, video streaming quality, and modem signal parameters, with results displayed in real time and exportable to CSV and PDF formats.
