Abstract

This thesis deals with the study of the market of drugstore items. In the theoretical part, I described various aspects which can influence a drugstore during its existence. I focused mainly on describing the characteristic features of the market environment. I attempted to provide the readers with the description of suppliers’, public’s and customers‘ behaviour as well as behaviour of the competitors, because all of these can possibly have a negative influence on overall activities of the company, for which I conducted the market analysis. The practical part is devoted to analysing several competitors dealing in the drugstore items. Mystery shopping was a method I chose for the research. I tried to find out the position of the drugstore in the market among other competitors, then what aspects influence its activities and what aspects would be relevant to change in order to satisfy its customers better.
