The thesis deals with the calculation of the stress state of simply supported walls using finite differences method. For these purposes an application in MathWorks Matlab software was created, including graphical user interface. Description of its function is part of the work. The resultant values for different shapes of walls and different loads are compared with results taken from the Scia Engineer software. Part of the thesis deals with solution of restraint walls using finite differences method, which is more complicated compared to simply supported walls. The obtained results are then compared with wall solved using inverse method.
