Abstract

This thesis deals with the possibility treatment of gold-bearing materials using centrifugal forces of locations Kašperské Hory, Smolník, Pukanec and Divín. Introductory parts deal with gold and its forms occurrence, individual types of gold-bearing materials and history of gold mining in the territory of the Czech. Are briefly characterized the possible ways of recovering gold from raw materials, the main emphasis is put on the methods of separation in a centrifugal field. A separate chapter deals with the characteristics of individual deposits, from which come the examined samples. Experimental part of thesis contains the results of laboratory experiments on the possibility of using centrifugal separation using a KNELSON KC-MD3 separator and CYCLOSIZER that simulated work hydrocyclones. Less attention has been paid to the application of the flotation separation in combination with centrifugal separation. Samples from sites Smolník, Pukanec and Divín were primarily investigated of the possibility of obtaining commercially useful concentrate, in an environmentally sound manner. Most attention was paid to the sample bearing Kašperské Hory, there was tested the effect of parameter changes on KNELSON separator to the process results.
