Abstract
The diploma thesis focuses on the evaluation of the process of recruitment, selection and adaptation of employees in a selected organization. The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the current process of recruitment, selection and adaptation of employees in the company ABB s. r. o., to identify possible shortcomings and to propose the optimization of personnel processes based on the research. The theoretical part explains and characterizes the basic theoretical concepts in the field of human resources management, describes the process of recruitment, selection and adaptation of employees, methods and techniques of data collection used in the research. The practical part is devoted to the introduction of the selected organization, its division and current operations, description of history, organizational and employee structure. This part also mentions the description of the current process of recruitment, selection and adaptation of employees in the organization based on the research methods, including a questionnaire survey, interview and participant observation. The main part is the evaluation of the questionnaire survey. Based on the results, certain recommendations are proposed that lead to the optimization and improvement of existing processes of recruitment, selection and adaptation of employees in the organization.
