This thesis deals with the vulnerability of drinking water supply system. The first part describes the drinking water supply system. Then, the other parts are analysed for risk, in region where drinking water supply is under threat. The work also describes the method of analysis process hierarchy, detailed structure of when and how the method is applied. The second part is a case study of the water treatment plant, which describes the parts which the water treatment plants consists of, as well as the production of drinking water. The emphasis is on the application of the methods by analysis hierarchy process on the water treatment plant.
