Abstract
Bachelor work is focused on the design and verification of 10 positions apparatus for testing of the photodegradation activity of particulate photocatalysts based on the degradation of organic dyes in aqueous environment and testing of the centrifugation as the method for separation of particulate photocatalyst after photodegradation test. Three different organic dyes were used for photodegradation test: acid orange 7, methylene blue and rhodamine B. The amount of the removed dyes was determined by UV-VIS spectrometry, for each of the tested dye the calibration curve was evaluated. Commercially available photocatalyst TiO2 P25 and nanocomposite KATI66 developed in the Nanotechnology centre were used for photodegradation experiments. The data acquired during photodegradation test were treated using basic methods of statistical evaluation of experimental data, for the evaluation of calibration curves statistical software QC Expert was used.
