Vizualizace dat na webu pomocí Google Data Studio

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the Google Data Studio platform, more precisely it focuses on its possibilities to process and visualize business data. It also includes the evaluation of the benefits of this platform. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first part focuses on the theoretical introduction to the field of data visualization, including the reasons and benefits of its use and there is also the introduction of current trends. Furthermore, the different stages of the data processing are introduced and described. The last chapter of the theoretical part is dedicated to the Google Data Studio platform itself and the description of individual steps of creating a data visualisation in it. In the practical part, two case studies are described in detail and then put into practice. These studies consist of the draft of a process which comprises individual stages such as data collecting, analysis, processing and the final transformation to the data visualisation. The output of the thesis is the implementation of several examples of data visualization, with an emphasis on determining and selecting the most appropriate data visualisation method for the given problem. Finally, the thesis concludes with an evaluation of the case studies, including an overall evaluation of the platform.
