Analýza protipožární a protivýbuchové ochrany na úpravně uhlí v Ledvicích

Abstract

The Thesis deals with the analysis of fire and explosion protection in a coal cleaning plant in Ledvice. Treatment and refining of minerals in connection with their extraction is one of the types of mining activities and therefore it is an industrial unit that falls under the superintendence of the State Mining Administration. Initial chapters are dedicated to an overview and description of objects, including technological processes. The Thesis continues with a list of legislative acts, stating the specific fire and explosion risks of the afore mentioned plant. This section finishes with a summary of current fire and explosion techniques. The main part of the Thesis is dedicated to proposals and innovations of reducing air and settling dust, like dust control of entry dunes of operational buildings, disposal of collected coal dust by wet or dry method and by using a pressing machine. Pros and cons of these methods are presented and the Thesis compares and evaluates their effectiveness. The conclusion is dedicated to afore mentioned innovation processes and their possible implementation.
