Charakterizace a vertikální distribuce kovů v popílku z deponie v Ostravě – Třebovicích

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the characterization of fly ash from the ash pond in Ostrava-Třebovice and the evaluation of the vertical distribution of hazardous elements in its profile. The theoretical section describes the properties of fly ash from coal-fired power plants, the behavior of hazardous elements in the environment, and the characteristics of the study site. In the practical section, samples collected from three locations at four depth horizons were analyzed, and their potential mobility was assessed based on physicochemical parameters. The results obtained contribute to the understanding of the behavior of hazardous elements in deposited fly ash and provide a basis for further research at this site.
