Abstract

Financial analysis is a process of selecting, evaluation and interpreting financial data. The aim of this thesis is to assess financial position of Michelin by financial analysis methods between 2014 and 2018. This thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is a basic introduction of the whole thesis. In chapter two, it provides an overview of the financial analysis methodology. In chapter three, it introduces some basic information about the company does common-size analysis. In chapter four, it will calculate the financial ratio and make pyramidal decompositions and influence quantification and sensitivity analysis to further assess the financial position of selected company. Chapter five is the conclusion.
