Abstract
The bachelor thesis analyzes the artistic education in the Czech Republic and in selected countries of the European Union. It deals with the characteristics of the educational system in the Czech Republic with the main focus on the definition of arts education. It presents various forms of financing art schools in the Czech Republic and selected EU countries and outlines other possible financial support. The last part is an analysis of the use of financial aid based on the survey.
