Abstract

The Diploma Thesis follows up the analysis of costs, revenues and economic results in the company XYZ for the period from 2010 to 2018. The theoretical part defines the basic theoretical concepts related to economic analysis and characterizes the analyzed company. The economic analysis is being created by horizontal and vertical cost-benefit analysis and selected ratio indicators, where are also mentioned legislative aspects affecting economic analysis. According to the decline in mining, the major activity of the industrial corporation is gradually terminated and the corporate profit has been declining over the years. Based on the evaluation of the economic analysis, measures are proposed that may lead to a probable improvement of the situation of the analyzed company.
