Motivace zaměstnanců ve společnosti ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s.

Abstract

This thesis deals with problems of employee motivation in the company ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s., especially non-wage motivation by granting employee benefits. The thesis begins with the presentation of the company. Further, the thesis continues with both theoretical, and practical chapters. There is a definition of basic concepts of work motivation, its significance, several theories of motivation and a process of motivation described in the theoretic chapter. In the theoretical part of the thesis we can find also the importance, structure, ways of providing, effectiveness and risks of employee benefits. The practical part is focused on the analysis of the current system of motivation in the company. The survey of employee satisfaction with the current motivation system made by questionnaire investigation takes part in the practical chapter. The conclusion includes the suggestion of several improvements of the current motivation system in the company.
