Abstract

The target of the bachelor thesis is to characterize activities and financial management of selectedorganization in the area of management of railway transport. Describes the development of the transformation process during the allocation of Czech Railways. The following foundation of two companies, Czech Railways plc. and The Railway Infrastructure Administration, state organization, was accomplished one of the main conditions of European commission before joining the Czech republic to European Union, and separation of infrastructure from operation of the railway infrastructure. In the introduction is briefly characterized period from the beginning of railway transport in the Czech republic to the establishment of transformational processes. Following part describes foundation The Railway Infrastructure Administration, state organization and its activities. The last part is focused on the management of the organization and outlines priorities for future years.
