Podklady pro regionální prognózu vzniku důlních otřesů ve vybrané oblasti na lokalitě ČSA Dolu Karviná, OKD, a. s.

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the regional prognosis of the rock burst origin in the assessed part of a rock mass at the Karviná coal mine, ČSA location. Specifically we´re dealing with the tenth fault block of the massif at the Karviná coal mine, ČSA location. In the assessed area of this fault block there are balance coal seams no. 16, no. 17, no. 19a, no. 22, no. 24 and no. 26, which according to the plan of development, preparation and extraction in the long term mining at the ČSA location. The coal seams were assessed according to this criteria: reduced compressive strength σDred, gradient strength´s angle αp, depth H, thickness of the coal seam m, petrography of the coal seam and lithologoical quality of the surrounding rock. There wasn´t made an assessment of the coal seam according to a tectonic failure because due to lack of information about tectonic failure, because there aren´t mined gate roads yet. Strength and deformation properties of rocks were assessed only at the coal seams, which have the results of laboratory tests in their geological documentation. The results of this diploma thesis can be used as the basis for requesting the inclusion of the assessed part of the rock massif as a part of a rock massif without the danger of rock burst [1].
