Srovnání finanční situace vybraných firem z odvětví výroby plastů

Abstract

This bachelor´s work was focused on drawing a comparison of financial state between firms Plastvalm Ltd. and MSc Petr Gross Ltd. by using of methods meant for that. There were used cross-sectional methods – vertical and horizontal analysis; methods of financial analysis – proportional analysis, pyramidal decomposition ROE, credit worthiness and bankruptcy models, spider analysis; methods of rating performance – EVA on the base of equity. It was found out by the outcome of my work that it is not correct to compare two firms at different level. The smaller firm Plastvalm Ltd. showed better financial situation and constant increasing economic value added without slump unless there is taken the level of development into consideration. Next there was found that despite the fact that the economic situation of the smaller firm was showed well, this firm can be inspired by a larger company and in particular making use of other capital like a cheaper way of funding. As a follow-up to my work it should be evaluated or determined value one of the firms in future.
