Abstract

Outset of this thesis is to introduce the general features of electronic ballasts for fluorescent lighting installations. We’ll have analysis of these circuits. We will find out, what construction blocks are composed and also we will show for what kind of fluorescent lighting installations can be used. In the next part of thesis we will discuss a concept of electronic ballast for linear fluorescent lamp, T5 series. Step by step, through theoretical principles of used integrated circuit, despite the overall conception scheme, description of the circuitry and design of PCB, we get to the actual realization of the real PCB. Final phase of the project will build of the real electronic ballast. Part of this thesis is control measurement of the realized equipment and introduces the results of the whole work.
