Vyhodnocení dopravních násypů na obchvatu Frýdku-Místku

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the behavior of traffic embankments of the D48 expressway on the Frýdek-Místek bypass. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to assess the behavior of building embankments using numerical modeling. The introductory theoretical part deals with the issue of embankment bodies, their construction and monitoring. In the second practical part of the diploma thesis, the issue of construction of the Frýdek-Místek bypass and subsequent assessment of the behavior of embankments using numerical modeling of selected profiles is discussed. Mathematical models are created using software Plaxis 2D, thus using the finite element method. Finally, the results of numerical modeling are compared with the monitoring results, which are determined from the values of the actual measurement of embankment subsidence using hydrostatic leveling and measurement of pore pressures using piezometers.
