Abstract
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of financing for youth sports clubs
and their dependence on public budgets. In the context of the Czech Republic,
where sport plays a crucial role in social and cultural development, youth sports
clubs represe nt an essential element in the social integration and upbringing of
young people. The study examines how the financing of these clubs is structured
and the impact of a combination of public and private sources on their daily
operations and long term development. The theoretical part addresses the
definition and analysis of key terms, the history of sport in the Czech Republic,
and the role of the National Sports Agency. The practical part includes
interviews with club representatives, comparative analyses, and discussions on
strategies that clubs use to address their dependence on public financing and to
diversify income. The aim of the thesis is to identify factors affecting the
economic stability of the clubs and to propose strategies for their sustainable
development, thereby contributing to a better understanding of the dynamics of
youth sports financing and supporting its prosperous future.
