Abstract
The author was asked by the management of Mpl Kauf Ltd, to carry out the user's testing of their internet shop as part of his master thesis. The web page has been working for over a year and has not been testing yet if its user-friendliness. The aim of the thesis is to check whether the users are satisfied with the website, that e-shop is user-friendly and attractive enough to make a purchase.
The first part describes the theoretical part, which is necessary for determining of the methodology of the research. The qualitative research is then conducted using user testing to meet the goal of the work and to find out the findings from appropriately selected respondents. Lastly, there are suggestions for eliminating flaws and improving the online store.
Several problems have been identified to dissuade visitors from using the e-shop. Respondents did not like the opening page, which was unclear to them and did not feel comfortable with it. Incorrect search engine features and poor sorting were incomprehensible to research participants.
The author proposed a change to the homepage, main menu layout, filter change, and several other things that could help improve the online store and increase the number of purchases and profits of the company.
