Abstract

This thesis treats of development of architecture in ancient Egypt and also of an overview of main preserve’s building monuments. First chapter deals with characteristic of Egypt and by its history with a focus on ancient world, which is the most important historical period for theme of this thesis. Subsequently takes through development of ancient Egyptian building industries with conformity of historical interval and focus on basic changes in architecture and build-up. Next chapter describes some of preserve building’s monuments, which are evidence of high know-how of ancient Egyptian builders. This thesis includes also orientation proposal of sight-seeing tour including mentions monuments.
