Abstract

The diploma thesis is generally divided into a theoretical and an experimental part. The theoretical part describes types of industrial dryers and purpose of their use. Chamber gas dryers are presented in more detail, including the gases used as energy sources during the drying process. Subsequently, an overview and description of industrial gas burners is presented. In the experimental part, the method of measuring temperatures in the combustion chamber during the drying cycle of the dryer is presented and the measurement results are presented here. Furthermore, the procedure for calculating the heat losses of the combustion chamber and the proposal for measures to reduce heat losses are presented here.
