Abstract
This bachelor thesis discusses the issues of athletic sponsorship in the Czech Republic. The purpose of this thesis is to develop an annual budget for a professional athlete in the 2012 calendar year. The theoretical part explains all of the important concepts used in the subsequent practical part. The practical part describes flows of the capital used during a preparation phase of an athletic season. The financial plan highlights the sponsorships received from various athletic centers and sponsorship programs. In addition, the financial plan classifies financial outflows into several categories and analyzes the amount of financial means used for particular components of athletic preparation. The thesis concludes by highlighting the results of savings. It also describes conflicting contracts of sponsorship programs and proposes a potential solution to the given situation.
