Abstract

This thesis focuses on the issue of management of residential buildings.The thesis describes especially the current state of residential houses in the Czech Republic (CR) and deals with their administration. The condition of an object can be improved by using the new trends and practices in management of residential buildings. This can save funds that would be required to incur in the event of emergency situations. This is the way we can save funds that would be required to incur in the case of disrepair. The Thesis deals with the management of residential buildings, property management, building operation, but the terms like „Facility Management in the management of residential buildings“ are included as well. The thesis also discusses the maintenances of residential houses and especially all types of using the flats, where the ownership types are included. It talks about „Owners Associations“ and emphasizes the changes which have been regulated by releasing the new Civil Code. In the practical part the knowledges are applied to a selected residential house. There are mainly solved the problems of maintenance and modifications are designed for comfortable living and efficient use management The problems of maintenance are solved here primarily and the suggested changes are designed for comfortable living and efficient usage management. The aim of this work is to summarize the theoretical resources that relate to the management of residential houses and refer the current status of management and service. Due to the extensiveness of subject matter I tried to summarize areas, that are encountered commonly.
